DARK SKY OBSERVATIONS
Low light reveals what daylight ignores.
THE OBSERVATION
Some nocturnal animals carry colors we were never meant to see in ordinary daylight.
The polka-dot tree frog, Boana punctata, can fluoresce under ultraviolet and blue light, producing a vivid green glow from compounds within its skin and lymphatic tissues. What appears relatively subdued by day becomes something entirely different after dark.
Fluorescent Chorus explores that hidden layer of the night.
It is a reminder that darkness does not always conceal. Sometimes reducing the light simply reveals another way of seeing.
THE ARTIFACT
The oversized back graphic presents the frog as an archival low-light study, surrounded by biological notes, specimen diagrams, fluorescence mapping, range information, and observational records.
Electric green and turquoise details emerge from a deep black background while antique-gold typography and framework keep the piece rooted in Fringe Wilderness's natural-history archive.

THE GARMENT
A comfortable everyday black tee built around a large-format archival back graphic. The dark base is intentionally paired with the fluorescent greens and blue-green details, allowing the specimen to appear almost luminous while the surrounding field-note elements remain subdued.
Unisex fit. Refer to the size chart for garment measurements and preferred fit.
CARE
Wash cold, inside out, with similar colors. Tumble dry low or hang dry when possible. Avoid ironing directly over printed artwork.
