THE ARTIFACT

Stone rarely reveals its history all at once. It accumulates slowly—sediment, pressure, mineral, and time compressed into bands that hold the memory of vanished environments.

Field Note No. 074 records a landscape written in layers. Fossil traces, fractures, and shifting color mark the places where ancient surfaces were buried and preserved. What appears still is, in fact, an archive of movement: water passing, earth settling, and entire ecosystems disappearing into stone.

Every layer remembers what the surface forgot.

THE GARMENT

Printed as a full-color archival back graphic on a premium garment-dyed heavyweight black tee. Layered rock formations, fossil impressions, geological diagrams, and weathered field notes are rendered in slate blue, muted mineral green, sand, bone, and deep charcoal.

The dark ground, softened edges, and aged scientific markings give the artwork the character of a recovered geological study plate while keeping the stratified stone as the central visual focus.

Designed with a relaxed unisex fit and a substantial, lived-in feel.
