DARK SKY OBSERVATIONS

Some skies do not open all at once.

THE OBSERVATION

The moon is never simply absent or present. It moves through phases, returning in fragments — a thin crescent, a widening arc, a shape that changes night by night while the larger rhythm continues beneath it.

Crescent Confluence is built around that quiet sense of movement.

Two crescent forms turn toward one another, filled with color, stars, and flowing celestial patterns. They feel almost like separate currents meeting in the same night sky — different paths held inside one larger cycle.

It is less about mapping the moon precisely and more about noticing its rhythm: passage instead of permanence, return instead of disappearance.

THE ARTIFACT

The oversized back graphic centers two interlocking crescent forms surrounded by stars, celestial markings, observational notes, and fine archival detailing.

Deep violet, blue, magenta, and warm antique-gold tones emerge against the black garment, giving the piece a luminous quality without losing the aged field-archive character of the collection.
