Some signals choose the dark.

THE OBSERVATION

Night is not quiet. It only operates on frequencies we are less equipped to notice.

Moths move through darkness by scent, light, vibration, and subtle environmental cues. Bats navigate and hunt using echolocation, sending sound into the night and reading what returns. Around them, the landscape becomes a network of movement, response, and detection.

Nocturnal Signal is built around that invisible exchange.

The design imagines darkness as a field of information — traces, pulses, movement corridors, and signals passing between species long after human vision stops being useful.

THE ARTIFACT

The oversized back graphic combines a central moth specimen with a bat silhouette, signal traces, circular detection markings, orientation data, environmental conditions, coordinates, and archival observation notes.

The restrained antique-gold artwork against black gives the piece the feel of an old field-monitoring record or forgotten nocturnal survey sheet.

THE GARMENT

A comfortable everyday black tee designed around a large-format archival back graphic. The monochromatic gold-on-black palette keeps the design understated at a distance while allowing the technical details to emerge up close.
